Akhbar e Jahan is an Urdu language magazine with focus on news & entertainment publishes on weekly basis from Karachi, Pakistan, published by Jang Group of Newspapers. Jang group is the biggest group of newspapers in Pakistan. Jang Group of Newspapers (generally known as the Jang Group) is a subsiduary of the Independent Media Corporation. It is one of Pakistan’s biggest group of newspapers and also publishes other Urdu newspaper such as Daily Jang, The News International, Mag Weekly, and Awam. Mir Khalil ur Rehman was the founder of the group and his son, Mir Shakil ur Rehman, is the present head of the group based in Karachi.
